<description>Nice article about the importance of farm animals and also the kind treatment of farm animals, specifically cattle. Doesn’t feature the propaganda that scare away everyday people from these topics.

Thank you.

<description>This is such a refreshing change, its so good to see news of this kind, and confirms that there are compassionate farmers out there!.

Cows are usually very good mothers, they are very protective of their calves, and being gregarious, enjoy kind human contact, as well as companionship from their own kind, always inquisitive, they are lovely animals, and appreciate the farmers care of them.

We watched how once when walking, we witnessed how a group of nursing cows grouped together to protect the young claves with them against a passing group of ‘loud’ Lads, (who had just come out of the lunchtime pub)they were walking along the footpath adjacent to the field, - they, (the cows) kept a safe distance, and kept their offspring in the centre of their nursery group watching these lads, until the danger passed.
They are great mothers, a joy to witness at shows, they deserve to get the best treatment - they are worth it!
